Prelit Christmas tree
Prelit Christmas tree
When my grandma went into a retirement community, the holidays looked bleak for her. The personnel did their best to embellish the halls and shared areas, but it depended on the clients to decorate their own rooms, if so preferred. My granny frantically missed having a Christmas tree, but there simply wasn’t enough of room in her little space. To amaze her, we purchased her a synthetic prelit Christmas tree. It stood about 3 feet tall and had all the twinkling lights already attached. There was no work involved when setting it up. All that was needed was plugging it in and including some other decorations. She liked it. To her, it was a sign of still having some self-reliance within her. The holidays could still be celebrated. That prelit Christmas tree illuminated her space all day long and she lookinged at it when dropping off to sleep at night. That was her last Christmas on this world and I was pleased to know that she enjoyed the vacation as she would have if living in your home.
A prelit Christmas tree isn’t really just for elderly people and retirement home. It is for people who hate fighting with putting the strands of lights on their trees each year. Yes, having a prelit Christmas tree means that you do not have the fresh pine scent of a genuine tree in your home during the vacations, however you will certainly discover yourself not stressing over a few of the decorating. After seeing my grandmother’s tree and understanding that every year I have problem with the lights, I purchased a complete size artificial prelit Christmas tree. I was always surprised at how the strands of lights would get so tangled despite the fact that they were stored so carefully. And, I no longer needed to battle with figuring out how many strands were needed and ways to hide the cords decoratively. I don’t have to do that any longer. I put simply my prelit Christmas tree up, plug it in and place on the rest of the decors and the holidays are much less annoying in my family. My husband appreciates the reality that he no longer needs to invest a minimum of an hour untangling and determining the strands of lights. I value the fact that it liberates a couple of extra hours and enables me even more time to relax or delight in time with my family.
Getting a prelit Christmas tree was an excellent choice in my home. As a matter of truth, after learning that we have a prelit Christmas tree, a number of other close friends decided to join us in the stress-free joys of embellishing. There are too many other things to anxiety about for the vacations, why does embellishing the tree need to be one of them?
