Usually the Assistant Pastor from their church went along. Primarily individuals behaved and often welcomed them in and in some cases the Pastor or Daddy would hope with individuals to accept Jesus which was really interesting.

One time though a man answered the door who wasnt from our country. His skin was darker and he used one of those turban things on his head. And when daddy shared about Jesus, the man got truly mad and began screaming and looked like he was going to come out and injure daddy so the Pastor excused them from the guy and they went to a bench nearby in the apartment building.

What was wrong with that guy Daddy? Why did he have that hat on his head? Phillip asked scared.

That is a man God loves just like he enjoys you and me Phillip. Now lets pray for him. And they did right there on the bench and they all felt much better.

That night Daddy explained that the guy was from another religious beliefs so he simply didnt comprehend that they were there to give him immortality. However Daddy, Phillip interrupted. It appeared like he wished to harm us. Does that imply exactly what we were doing was wrong?

Kids do bear in mind the story of Stephen in the Bible? Daddy said and before they knew it, Daddy was informing them the story. Daddy was a fantastic storyteller since he had the ability to make Julie and Phillip feel like they were right there in the story.

Where are we Daddy? Phillip shook his head browsing at the huge crowd of what appeared to be really mad individuals. Phillip and Julie felt their Daddy holding onto their hands as he took them right into the bible story he was mentioning to.

We are in the story, Phillip. These individuals are all mad with Stephen. See over there?

The kids worked their method in between the legs of the screaming people and afterwards they saw him. Standing apart from the crowd, dressed all in white. Phillip! Julie whispered. Thats Stephen, just like Daddy stated.

Children over right here. They heard their Daddy murmur and they went to him knelt in between some individuals enjoying.

Why are they all so mad Daddy? Asked Julie a little terrified and worried for Stephen.

They don’t want him to share about Jesus, darling. Her Daddy addressed.

Daddy, he doesn’t even look afraid. I would be SO terrified if everybody was mad at me. Phillip stated watching Stephen with awe.

Can you hear what he is stating kids? Daddy whispered and they listened close.

He is praising Jesus Daddy. Julie finally said. He is thanking Jesus that he is going to have the ability to suffer and die for God. Daddy I do not understand. She stated sobbing a little bit.

Well honey, Jesus craved us so its a privilege to go with those things for him. Stephen teems with the Holy Ghost so he isn’t suffering at all. See his face, its packed with joy. Thats what the Holy Spirit does when we go through hard things for Jesus. He replaces the fear and discomfort with delight and praise. Come on, we better return, Mom will have dinner ready quickly.

As they relocated to the back of the crowd, Julie saw a wrap that resembled it belonged to Stephen. She reached to select it up however an older boy selected it up initially. She looked him in the eyes.

Why are you crying? She asked the boy.

I getting always disliked Christians, little woman the child stated. However Stephen has a lot happiness. The happiness of Stephen makes me somehow really want that in my heart.

Back house at the supper table they told Mom everything about their experience. Well, Julie, who was that kid you talked with before you got home.
